In 2020 Bona Fide Fitness was selected out of 1222 applications to be one of the first 60 gyms to be a partner with NCFIT! Are roots and background have been CrossFit since 2014, now NCFIT and Bona Fide Fitness both want to improve our communities inside and outside of our walls. While the training methodology will remain the same, we will always be looking for ways that we can improve your experience at BFFit!

No. Bona Fide Fitness is the fitness and nutrition program that will get you in shape. No matter what your current fitness level is, you can start! You can start if you've never worked out, if you have injuries, or if you're sick or overweight. Our workouts are modified to help each person succeed, improve fitness and take daily steps toward goals. As you become fitter, your workouts will be adjusted to challenge you at your new level.
All of our classes are coach lead and about 1 hour long.  In these classes we will start off with a warm up specific to our WOD (Workout of the Day).  These warm ups are designed to prepare you for the rest of the movements that you will see during the rest of the class

After the Warm up we will move on to our skill or strength piece for the day.  During our strength and skill pieces we will either work on movement technique, developing new physical skills or do some lifting.  

Lastly you will see a short duration high intensity workout.  These WODs or workouts will usually last 6-20 minutes and are guaranteed to kick your butt!  
Yes. Our training is very safe, and sitting on your couch is dangerous. In our gym, credentialed trainers provide precise instructions and coaching to help people move safely and efficiently, helping them avoid all the diseases and injuries that come from inactivity, obesity and poor nutrition.
All workouts can be modified for people of any age and ability. Adjusting a workout for a specific person is called "scaling," and it allows very experienced athletes and beginners to train side by side. Our skilled Coach can quickly adjust each workout to reflect your needs, goals and current abilities.
To accomplish your goals faster, we recommend you eat a variety of healthy foods in quantities that support fitness training but not body fat. By avoiding excessive amounts of refined carbohydrates (sugars) and measuring your protein, carbohydrate and fat intake, you will see measurable increases in health. Here's a simple starting point: Eat meat and vegetables, nuts and seeds, some fruit, little starch, and no sugar.
